About the Role

As a Corporate Analyst at BOQ Group, you will provide crucial support to the Corporate Relationship Executive, ensuring seamless preparation of credit submissions and periodic credit reviews for new and existing customers.

You will also collaborate with Loans Centre/HP staff and external professional services providers to guarantee timely and accurate processing of documentation and settlements.

This role demands a high standard of customer service to drive business growth and customer retention, as well as effectively managing administrative, reporting, and regulatory tasks under the direction of the Relationship Executive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and reviewing complex lending submissions exceeding $10m.
  • Document preparation and review to ensure accuracy.
  • Supporting the Relationship Executive in identifying and executing new business opportunities for the Bank.
  • Maintaining targeted customer service standards.
  • Establishing strong relationships with customers through provision of banking solutions.
  • Ensuring adherence to BOQ's credit policies, procedures, and audit requirements.
  • Liaising with Loan Centre and external service providers to guarantee accurate documentation and timely settlements.

About You

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Previous experience in Commercial/Corporate banking, preferably with exposure to transactions exceeding $10m.
  • Ability to critically analyze and interpret financial statements and identify industry trends.
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Strong internal and external relationship-building skills, problem-solving abilities, and decision-making skills.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Windows program knowledge.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Advanced numeracy and financial modeling skills.
