Lead Technical Engineer for Dams

Join our team of skilled engineers and leaders in the field of dam engineering.

Job Description:

We are seeking a Lead Technical Engineer to provide technical leadership in the design of gates, regulating structures, outlet works, valves, fish screens and other mechanical aspects of water storage dam infrastructure. You will work closely with the rest of the team to develop sustainable capability and deliver innovative solutions that meet clients' needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical leadership in project identification, feasibility studies, conceptual design, reference design, and detailed design phases.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance project delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Lead risk assessments and dam safety inspections or condition assessments of hydromechanical plant.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 15 years of experience in consulting environments. They should have strong project management skills, be able to mentor and lead teams, and possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
