Leading Dam Operations Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled mechanical engineer to lead the design, construction and asset management of dams. As part of our dam operations team, you will contribute to feasibility studies, collaborate with specialists nationally and internationally to develop sustainable water solutions and mentor the next generation of engineers.
Main Responsibilities:- Mechanical engineering design for dam operations
- Inspection, investigation and condition assessment of existing dams
- Construction support services including inspection of works, evaluation of quality control and quality assurance data
- Preparation of tenders and proposals & providing mentoring
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated capability in mechanical design, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to develop and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders, clients as well as the local industry.
Requirements:- Demonstrated capability in mechanical design, including the preparation of design reports, design drawings and specifications, ideally within the dam industry
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (essential)
