Job Description

Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal.

We are seeking a key member of our team who will provide client-centred, strengths-based and solution-focused support to individuals with complex mental health and disability needs. You'll work closely with the judiciary and key stakeholders to ensure clients receive coordinated high-quality care and support.

  • Deliver advanced case management to clients with complex needs, particularly those with mental health and disability support requirements.
  • Attend court regularly to provide clinical and program advice to the judiciary and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate access to services including housing, AOD treatment, family violence interventions, and mental health support.
  • Develop risk management and harm minimisation strategies.
  • Prepare and present written court reports and provide expert advice.
  • Mentor and coach case managers to enhance practice quality.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with external stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Hold a tertiary qualification in social work, psychology, welfare, disability or a related field.
  • Bring extensive experience in assessing and managing clients with complex mental health and/or disability support needs.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, including preparing detailed reports and presenting in court.
  • Ability to build strong professional relationships and contribute to a supportive team environment.
