Reliable Plant Maintenance Lead

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support services on site, focusing on plant and equipment reliability.
This role requires a strong leader who can effectively manage a Mechanical trades team, ensuring safe and efficient maintenance activities are performed.
A key aspect of this position is investigating process, plant, and equipment failures, determining the root cause, and developing lasting solutions.
The ideal candidate will have experience in batch manufacturing environments, specifically in filling, packaging, and palletising processes.
Additionally, they should possess knowledge of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and have at least 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance engineering position.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to improve plant reliability.
- Lead and manage a Mechanical trades team to ensure effective maintenance activities.
- Investigate and resolve process, plant, and equipment failures.
- Collaborate with Operations, Electrical & Instrumentation, and Quality teams to achieve shared goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electromechanical, or Process Engineering.
- Experience in a batch manufacturing environment, specifically in filling, packaging, and palletising.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance engineering position.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role overseeing contractors or trades.
- Knowledge of CMMS systems and familiarity with industry standards.
