An exciting opportunity exists for 2 skilled professionals to take on the role of Maintenance Engineers. This position involves working afternoon shift.

The Job Description:

This is a crucial role within the Maintenance and Utilities – Maintenance Services Team, where you will be responsible for providing essential engineering and maintenance support services on site.

You will lead and manage a Mechanical trades team, ensuring that all activities are performed safely and efficiently.

  • Maintenance solutions to improve plant and equipment reliability;
  • Leadership and supervision for Mechanical Technicians during facility shutdown periods;
  • Preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities;
  • Investigating process, plant, and equipment failures, determining the cause, and developing permanent solutions;
  • Providing technical advice in Manufacturing facilities on-site;
  • Maintaining close working relationships with personnel from various departments;
  • Maintaining training and documentation relevant to the mechanical team.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electromechanical or Process Engineering;
  • Experience in batch manufacturing environments, specifically in filling/packing/palletizing;
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance engineering position;
  • Familiarity with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS);
  • Prior supervisory experience overseeing contractors or trades;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
