Senior / Principal Mechanical Specialist - Plant Reliability

We are seeking a skilled Senior/ Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our team, working afternoon shift. The successful candidate will provide essential engineering and maintenance support services on-site.
The Role- Deliver high-quality maintenance and engineering solutions to improve plant and equipment reliability.
- Lead and manage a Mechanical trades team, supervise technicians, and ensure preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities are performed safely and efficiently.
- Analyze process, plant, and equipment failures, determine the cause of failure, and develop permanent solutions.
- Provide technical advice in manufacturing facilities on-site and maintain close working relationships with Operations, Electrical & Instrumentation, System Owner Group, Planning & Support Group, and Quality teams.
- Maintain training and documentation relevant to the mechanical team.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electromechanical or Process Engineering.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance engineering position, preferably in a batch manufacturing environment.
- Experience in a supervisory role overseeing contractors or trades, knowledge of maintenance systems, and familiarity with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
