Exciting Opportunity for Maintenance Engineers

We are seeking 2 skilled Maintenance Engineers to join our dynamic Maintenance and Utilities Team in a challenging role. Working afternoon shift, you will lead and manage a Mechanical trades team, ensuring the reliability of plant and equipment.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, your key responsibilities include:

  1. Providing maintenance and engineering solutions to improve plant and equipment efficiency.
  2. Leading and supervising Mechanical Technicians during facility shutdown periods.
  3. Ensuring preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities are performed safely and efficiently.
  4. Investigating process, plant, and equipment failures, determining causes, and developing permanent solutions.
  5. Providing technical advice in Manufacturing facilities on-site.
  6. Developing close working relationships with personnel in Operations, Electrical & Instrumentation, System Owner Group, Planning & Support Group, and Quality.
  7. Maintaining training and documentation relevant to the mechanical team.

Key qualifications and skills include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electromechanical or Process Engineering.
  • Experience in batch manufacturing environments, particularly in filling/packaging/palletizing.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in maintenance engineering positions.
  • Previous experience in supervisory roles overseeing contractors or trades.
  • Knowledge of maintenance systems and familiarity with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
