About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rail Replacement Coordinator to join our team at Arriva Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and safe execution of rail replacement operations across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Operational Management: Oversee the general management of pre-planned and emergency road transport, ensuring the replacement rail service meets our high standards.
  2. Service Delivery: Ensure drivers and vehicles meet our required standards, guaranteeing timely arrivals and departures, and seamless connections with train services.
  3. Customer Experience: Provide exceptional information and assistance to passengers, ensuring a smooth train-bus-train transition process and maintaining a safe transfer area.
  4. Problem-Solving: Communicate effectively with station staff, TOC control centers, and the coordination team to resolve any issues that may affect passengers.
  5. Reporting and Feedback: Record service incidents, escalate where necessary, and provide thorough feedback to the coordination team within 48 hours.
Requirements

We are looking for individuals who are flexible, keen to learn new skills, and possess excellent customer service skills. As a key point of contact with station staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a positive and professional relationship.
