We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training Coordinator to join our team at Australian Rail Track Corporation. As a key member of our People and Performance team, you will play a critical role in delivering training coordination services to our employees, ensuring compliance with relevant Enterprise Agreements, National competency requirements, and applicable National Rail Safety Law and Work Health and Safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Provide effective training coordination and customer service, including forecasting and scheduling of technical training.
- Work with Area Managers, Maintenance Supervisors, and Work Group Leaders to understand their specific training needs.
- Complete training need analysis and develop individual training plans, aligned to the requirements of competency matrices to achieve a safe, capable, and compliant workforce.
- Demonstrated ability to work co-operatively and influence outcomes.
- Strong administration and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills with employees, leaders, and external training providers.
- Experience with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and learning management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to use discretion and sound judgment in dealing with issues as necessary.
- Holder of a current unrestricted driver's license and willingness to travel.
- Desirable to have demonstrated experience in a Registered Training Organisation/training company-related role.
- Desirable to hold a Certificate IV in HR or Training & Assessment.
- Work on leading major projects as part of a long-term program of work.
