We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our client's team in Newcastle. This role will involve handling customer inquiries and resolving issues across multiple channels, including phone and email.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and capture feedback in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive Outreach**: Engage in outbound campaigns to proactively address customer concerns.
  • Administrative Tasks**: Complete administrative tasks to support operational efficiency.
  • Data Management**: Maintain accurate customer data, ensure compliance, and meet performance KPIs.
  • Team Collaboration**: Participate in training and contribute to team success.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong Communication Skills**: Effective communication and problem-solving skills to handle customer inquiries.
  • Independence and Teamwork**: Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals.
  • Industry Experience**: Previous experience in customer service and conflict resolution within the superannuation/insurance industry or similar.
  • Technical Skills**: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Certifications**: RG146 compliant or commitment to undertaking study.
  • Attitude and Commitment**: Friendly, people-focused attitude and commitment to continuous learning.
