We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Generalist to join our fast-growing organization in Melbourne. The successful candidate will work closely with the HR Manager and business leaders in the region and be responsible for providing end-to-end HR services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the HR Manager on HR initiatives across all Australian businesses, mainly in the Melbourne office.
- Implement HR activities such as workforce planning, talent acquisition, onboarding and offboarding, performance management, and employee relations matters.
- Be the first point of contact for HR advice on employment legislation, HR system operations, HR policies and processes, employee wellbeing programs, etc.
- Assist with negotiating enterprise agreements with management teams.
- Maintain HRIS data with new hires and employee changes.
- Support capability development initiatives, including training.
- Provide support to management teams and implement HR programs from organizational strategy.
- Show willingness to optimize processes and strive for continuous improvement.
Salary Estimate: AU$85,000 - AU$110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (HR, industrial relations, business management, law).
- 3+ years' experience in a HR generalist role gained from a sizable company, ideally engineering or similar.
- Ability to interpret and apply employment legislation such as Modern Awards and the Fair Work Act.
- Experience with EBA establishment and execution preferred.
- Strong MS Office skills are mandatory, further knowledge of HRIS such as Success Factors beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong ownership culture with the ability to work independently.
- Can-do attitude, with initiative and efficiency.
