**Your Opportunity**:
Reporting to the CEO, you will lead the strategic and operational aspects of the People and Culture department during incredible growth, including an acquisition. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing strategic plans, improving organisational capability, coaching leaders, ensuring regulatory compliance, driving recruitment strategies, and managing employee life cycle aspects. The HR Generalist is crucial in maintaining a positive culture, recruiting top talent, and enhancing the overall employee experience.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Developing and delivering the People & Culture strategic plan aligned with the corporate vision.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to enhance organisational capability.
- Coaching leaders and employees for a positive employee experience.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and industrial requirements.
- Driving recruitment marketing strategies and developing effective recruitment strategies.
- Managing Workcover claims and return-to-work coordination.
- Preparing People and Culture Reports.
- Setting processes and benchmarks in place around recruitment excellence and onboarding.
- Resolving conflicts and conducting performance and wage reviews.
- Developing clear policies, conducting workplace investigations, and handling terminations.
- Maintaining the HR platform, optimising functionalities, and exploring suitable platforms.
- Supporting People and Culture activities and collaborating with the OHS Manager on compliance matters.

**Your Qualifications and Skills**:
**_We seek a personable, proactive, strategic and analytical thinker to help elevate HR practices and principles within the business nationally._**

You will have the following background and skillsets:

- Tertiary qualifications in HR/OHS qualifications (Cert IV, Diploma)
- Experience in HR Management or senior-level experience, with exposure to the facilities management or property services environment advantageous.
- A hands-on approach to drive forward best practices and help refine current systems, processes and the HR Framework.
- Proven ability to handle disputes/resolutions and the correct practices and procedures, with knowledge of Industrial Relations beneficial
- Strong focus on Safety, Environmental, and Quality culture.
- Friendly attitude, relationship-building solid skills, and the ability to negotiate successfully.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and HR databases (Employment Hero preferably).
- High attention to detail and ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
