Opportunity Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Infrastructure Planning team as a Principal Project Officer. This role is responsible for providing authoritative and timely advice on First Nations considerations, ensuring the successful design and delivery of health infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop complex project business cases, project plans, progress reports and closure reports to ensure all stakeholders are fully briefed on project objectives, milestones and impacts, tasks and progress
  • Formulate innovative approaches and strategies to support improving Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and wellbeing outcomes
  • Lead complex project planning and the delivery of initiatives to achieve effective, efficient and sustainable outcomes for our consumers

Requirements

  • Evidence of vaccination against COVID 19
  • Identified Indigenous Information under s25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991, there is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community
  • Declaration of serious discipline history must be completed
