Reservations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reservations Coordinator to join our team at Howard Smith Wharves. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for coordinating inbound bookings, providing exceptional customer service, and working closely with our kitchen and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities- Booking Management: Coordinate reservations for our precinct, including large bookings and dietary requirements.
- Customer Service: Provide friendly and solution-driven customer service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.
- Communication: Liaise with the kitchen and operations teams on a regular basis to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
- Feedback and Reporting: Pass on guest feedback to relevant departments and collate this feedback for management.
- Reporting and Analysis: Create reports on bookings as required, providing valuable insights for management.
- Upselling and Cross-Selling: Upsell our products, venues, and property to enhance the guest experience and drive revenue growth.
- Experience: Previous experience in hospitality is desired, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.
- Availability: Weekend and after-hours availability will be required to meet the demands of our business.
- Confidentiality: Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with guests and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple bookings and priorities effectively.
