Quality Assurance Manager

As Quality Assurance Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality clinical care and services at Bupa South Morang. Located just 40kms from Melbourne's CBD, this modern care home offers a supportive team environment and opportunities for growth and development.
About the RoleThis part-time role involves leading quality governance, compliance, and competency among team members to meet the requirements of the Aged Care Quality Standards. You will work closely with the leadership team to identify improvement opportunities and provide hands-on support in remediation and coaching.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing quality-focused leadership and coaching to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and services;
- Guiding team members on documentation and recording practices to ensure adherence to expected outcomes;
- Developing team members' knowledge and understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and their scope of practice;
- Identifying areas of employee skill and knowledge gaps and creating plans to address these deficiencies;
- Maintaining currency of Commission Entry Questions and preparing the care home and team members through preparedness activities;
- Collaborating with the leadership team to develop and implement the Plan for Continuous Improvement (PCI);
- Completing monthly Quality Indicator Reports, including data analysis and insights discussion with CCMs and GMs; and
- Ensuring timely submission and analysis of Government NQIP program data.
To be successful in this role, you will possess a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification, current AHPRA registration, and postgraduate qualifications in Aged Care and Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) are desirable. Proven experience in delivering quality clinical care, coaching, and training is essential, as is the ability to foster a team environment and build collaborative relationships.
