About the Opportunity
We are seeking a seasoned Quality and Education Manager to lead our team in delivering high-quality care and services at Bupa South Morang, a modern care home located in South Morang. As a part-time role (22.5 hours per week), you will play a critical part in ensuring compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and coaching to ensure quality governance and competency among team members.
- Assist in identifying areas for improvement and support in remediating gaps, while coaching the Care Home leadership team for sustainability.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance team knowledge and understanding of expectations within the framework of the Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Ensure the Care Home and team members are prepared through preparedness activities and maintain currency of the Commission Entry Questions.
- Maintain the Care Home's Plan for Continuous Improvement (PCI) in collaboration with the leadership team, tracking progress and implementing improvements.
- Complete monthly Quality Indicator Reports, analyzing data and articulating insights with the GM and CCMs.
- Cordinate the completion of all monthly Care Home Audits within the Operations Essential audit program.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor of Nursing or Equivalent is essential with current AHPRA registration.
- Postgraduate qualification in Aged Care and Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) is desirable.
- Proven track record in delivering quality clinical care, coaching, and training.
- Effective communication, leadership, and relationship management skills.
- An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards, and Outcomes.
