Job Overview

This role encompasses the management of Systems Engineering - IVV process and practices, requiring significant knowledge and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design proving and integration trials are undertaken on cutting-edge in-build and in-service submarine combat systems.
  • The candidate will be responsible for leading specific trials including planning, organizing, leading, analyzing, and reporting.
  • Mentorship and support to other members of the Integration team in your area of specialty when required.
  • Installation documents compilation and platform-based trials on the submarine are also key responsibilities.
  • Undertaking peer reviews or checking/verification tasks as directed.
Requirements:
  • A strong background in Systems Engineering - IVV process and practices in the defense, maritime, or closely linked industry.
  • Knowledge of the engineering lifecycle with experience of operating in the phase relevant to the role and awareness of the entire engineering lifecycle.
  • A deep understanding of the context of their work within the overall product and platform/programme.
  • Familiarity with Product Safety and SHE principles.
