Overview
CSL Australia is currently looking for a permanent full time Electro-Technical Officer to join our cement carrier Goliath. This operation is based in the Bass Strait. Reporting to the Chief Engineer, the Electro-Technical Officer is responsible for maintaining electrical and electronic equipment.

How will you contribute to our success?
The ETO Will Be Responsible For

  • Maintaining the vessel's electrical and electronic equipment
  • Adopting safe working practices
  • UMS test schedules, alarm test etc
  • Assisting during maintenance as required over and above electrical equipment maintenance
  • First level maintenance of communications, radio and navigation equipment
  • Providing support for safe and efficient running of electrical equipment during cargo operations

The Skills You Will Bring To Our Team

  • Educational requirement: as per AMSA Marine Order 72 – Electro-Technical Officer ( required)

  • AMSA Electro-Technical Officer CoC/CoR Unlimited

  • Minimum 12 months relevant experience (required)

  • Certificate of Safety Training (STCW) (desirable)

  • Work Safely at Heights Certification (desirable)
  • Enter and Work in Confined Space Certification (desirable)
  • Hold, or be eligible to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) (required)
  • Australian Citizen or unlimited Australian Working Rights
