The Opportunity

We are seeking a Chief Transmission Network Engineer to join our Network Connections team based in Adelaide on a full-time basis. This pivotal role involves guiding customers through the connection challenges of a network transitioning to 100% renewables while ensuring network security and stability.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide technical leadership and innovation to achieve business goals and objectives
  • Proactively manage customer connections and provide expert advice
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering-related roles with a specialisation in customer connections
  • Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline
  • Eligible for membership of Engineers Australia or a professional association
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams and influence stakeholders
  • Expert knowledge of industry requirements, power system engineering, and modelling packages
  • Advanced understanding of engineering techniques, physics, and mathematical principles
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
