Job Description

Kalpataru Projects International Ltd is seeking experienced High Voltage Transmission Line Engineers to join their team in Regional NSW, Regional Victoria, and Regional Queensland throughout Australia.

About the Role:

  • Install conductors, OPGW and aerial equipment, and underground cables and equipment for high-voltage transmission lines.
  • Install and maintain equipment associated with electrical supply such as transformers.
  • Maintain poles and associated hardware.
  • Conduct routine repairs on the aerial and underground electricity supply network.
  • Fitting pole hardware and crossarms, installing and repairing transmission line structures, hardwares, and other equipment onto electrical transmission towers/poles.
  • Installation of conductors and hardware, connecting and installing electrical equipment and overhead lines.
  • Using heavy plant equipment such as elevated work platforms and portable equipment like hydraulic drills, tensioners, and pullers.
  • Undertake substation structure and equipment installation and maintenance.
  • Undertake transmission line structure ground assembly work and its associate enabling work to take-up installation of transmission line structures.

Requirements:

  • AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3).
  • At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for formal qualifications.
  • A minimum of 5+ years' experience is required.
