Job Title: Property Financial Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Property Financial Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of financial records and reports for a portfolio of properties.

You will work closely with our property managers to provide financial insights and support decision-making. This will involve reconciling accounts, monitoring and managing budgets, forecasts, and cash flow for assigned properties.

  • Reconcile bank accounts and tenant ledgers to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Collaborate with property managers to provide financial support and guidance.
  • Review and manage property-related expenses and invoices for accuracy and compliance.

You will also be responsible for assisting with audits and ensuring adherence to compliance and regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will provide regular financial updates to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications such as CA or CPA (or working towards them).
  • Experience in property accounting or a similar role within the property industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
