We are seeking a skilled Property Accountant to join our finance team. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Financial reporting and budgeting, variance analysis for diverse property portfolio
  2. Prepare accurate monthly and quarterly property financial statements in compliance with company policies and accounting standards
  3. Monitor and process property-related transactions, rent receivables, operating expenses, service charge reconciliations, capital expenditures
  4. Liaise with internal teams for accurate financial reporting and budgeting
  5. Assist in preparation of financial reports for stakeholders, investors
  6. Review lease agreements, accurate rent calculations, operating costs, financial terms in accounting system
  7. Prepare reconciliations of property-related balance sheet accounts, timely resolution of discrepancies
  8. Support year-end audits, tax filings, compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements:
  1. Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or related field
  2. CPA/CA Qualified
  3. At least 2-3 years experience in property accounting, preferably within real estate or property management environment
  4. Strong understanding of accounting principles, particularly in relation to property and real estate
  5. Proficiency in financial software, experience in property management systems
  6. Advanced Excel skills for data analysis, reconciliation, reporting
  7. Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational time management skills
  8. Ability to work independently, part of team, managing multiple priorities
  9. Strong communication skills, liaising effectively with internal external stakeholders
  10. Proactive problem-solving attitude, delivering high-quality results
