Senior Financial Accountant

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Financial Accountant to lead our finance function, providing support for a diverse portfolio of leases and property operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced professional to oversee all accounting and financial reporting for our property portfolio, preparing weekly, monthly, and annual accounts, forecasts, budgets, and management reports. You will manage cash flow, GL, tax compliance, and external audit relationships while partnering with various teams to ensure accurate tenant receivables, incentives, and outgoings recovery.

The ideal candidate will be a CPA/CA qualified professional with solid commercial accounting experience, skilled in property/real estate accounting with deep knowledge of property ownership structures and statutory compliance. Yardi experience is essential, as you will be the subject-matter expert internally. Additionally, you should be confident in Excel and reporting systems, with sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, and possess excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with the team.

  • Oversight of all accounting and financial reporting for the property portfolio
  • Preparation of weekly, monthly, and annual accounts, forecasts, budgets, and management reports
  • Leadership of AP/AR and guidance of a small finance support team
  • Management of cash flow, GL, tax compliance, and external audit relationships
  • Partnership with property, leasing, and facilities teams for accurate tenant receivables, incentives, and outgoings recovery
