About the Role
The Health Promotion team is responsible for developing and implementing health promotion projects and activities to support the health and wellbeing of communities in the Goulburn Valley.
As a Health Promotion Officer, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating prevention and health promotion projects and activities that address priority health and wellbeing issues.
You will work collaboratively with internal and external services and organisations to ensure an integrated approach is taken to addressing these issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain an understanding of the current and emerging health and wellbeing needs and priorities of the community.
- Develop and facilitate effective partnerships and professional relationships with key stakeholders.
- Provide regular project updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Participate in the development and implementation of annual Community Health - Health Promotion plans.
- Support consumer participation in prevention and health promotion.
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings, network meetings and stakeholder meetings as required.
- Maintain records in accordance with program guidelines and funding requirements.
