Consultant Psychiatrist for Community Mental Health

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to provide high-quality care to patients with complex mental health needs.

About the Role:

  • Work 2 days per week as a locum consultant psychiatrist in community-based mental health settings
  • Provide specialist psychiatric services to older adults with mental health issues
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and progress

Requirements:

  • Degree-qualified medical practitioner with current registration
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in psychiatry, preferably in an old age mental health setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
