Key Responsibilities- Travel across the region to work with clients in their homes and clinics.
- Collaborate with clients, carers, and families to develop practical solutions promoting independence and safety at home.
- Provide specialist intervention for clients with dysphagia and complex communication disorders.
- Offer expert advice on suitable communication aids and devices.
- Develop tailored care plans to assist consumers remain at home and active in their local community.
- Work with a diverse client base presenting with a range of health conditions.
- Bachelor of Applied Science Speech Pathology or equivalent qualification.
- A member of Speech Pathology Australia SPA and participation in the SPA professional self-regulation program.
- Proven experience in delivering Speech Pathology services within home and community-based settings.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the service system and ability to liaise and advocate across health and community care sectors.
- Experience in managing adult clients with dysphagia.
