We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the recovery journey of our participants, working closely with individuals and their clinical care teams.
As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to lead various engaging groups and activities, provide vital operational support, and contribute to innovative solutions that enhance our programs. About Our ProgramsWellways delivers the Specialist Residential Rehabilitation Program (SRRP) and Prevention and Recovery Care (PARC) programs in partnership with Goulburn Valley Area Mental Health Service. These residential programs provide practical environments that facilitate the maintenance of, and/or the development of skills in daily living, learning, working, social, and health domains. Both programs offer clinical and psychosocial support to participants and are underpinned by evidence-based best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with individuals and clinical care teams to promote recovery and improve participant outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized plans to address participant needs and goals.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to inform program planning and delivery.
- Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Relevant qualifications or commensurate experience in mental health rehabilitation or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience working with individuals with serious mental health challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Right to work in Australia.
- Current valid driver's license and ability to undertake some travel.
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate.
- Satisfactory National Police Records Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Working with Children's Check or willingness to obtain.
