About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead health promotion initiatives in rural sexual health settings. As a Health Promotion Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing evidence-informed strategies to build workforce capacity, strengthen community action, and enhance access to vital health services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead health promotion activities: Design and implement initiatives that foster healthy behaviors and improve health outcomes among rural communities.

Requirements:

  • A relevant tertiary degree in Health Promotion, Public Health, Community Development, Nursing, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of sexual and reproductive health issues in rural areas.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and report writing skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities, with experience in building partnerships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and Zoom for virtual collaboration.
  • High-level planning, organisational, and time management skills.
