Job Title: Group Facilitator

Our multidisciplinary team is seeking a qualified and experienced group facilitator to facilitate our inpatient and/or day outpatient group therapy program.

The Opportunity

This role involves facilitating skills groups, planning and organizing content with creativity and flexibility, and delivering high-quality patient care.

  • Confidence in group facilitation and the ability to engage patients across age groups and mental health diagnoses are essential.
  • You will work closely with the Allied Health Manager, Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure quality patient care is delivered.
Skills And Experience

Qualifications for this role include an accredited undergraduate degree in Psychology, APHRA registration, and general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia or equivalent mental health care professional registration.

  • Training and experience in group therapy, excellent communication skills, and time management abilities are also required.
  • Self-motivation, autonomy, and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team are essential for success in this role.

Additional requirements include familiarity with Microsoft Suite and the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize workload in a complex therapeutic environment.
