Therapy Support Specialist

We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-driven individual to fill a key role in our team at a state-of-the-art residential aged care facility. As a Therapy Support Specialist, you will play an integral part in providing mobility and exercise programs, recreational activities, and therapeutic support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver mobility and exercise programs under the direction of a Physiotherapist.
  • Implement recreational and therapeutic activity programs under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist.
  • Contribute to the planning and organisation of therapy programs.
  • Accompany resident groups on outings.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance or higher/equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in a similar role (Occupational Therapist Assistant or Physiotherapist Assistant) is desirable.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
