YOUR NEW ROLE

As a Therapy Assistant in the NDIS team at Altius Group, you will provide direct support to our allied health consultants who provide therapeutic services to NDIS participants using evidence-based practice to meet their needs and outcomes. Altius Group delivers services to participants nationally across Australia, and you'll be based out of our Tuggerah branch.

  • Provide therapeutic services under the clinical supervision of an allied health consultant
  • Coordinate the delivery of therapy services to NDIS participates
  • Assist with developing detailed written reports that support participants goals and outcomes
  • Maintain up to date information, data and documents for all participants
  • Collaborate and liaise with medical practitioners and allied health professionals
  • Deliver excellent customer service to established and new key stakeholders

WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN US

This role will suit a current 4th year Occupational Therapy student who is passionate about assisting NDIS participants and health professionals.

To be considered, you are...

  • Currently undertaking a tertiary allied health qualification in Occupational Therapy - 4th year
  • Willing to obtain a National Police Check
  • Willing to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Willing to obtain a Working with Children Check
  • A current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
