About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Front Office Lead to join our team at Veriu Queen Victoria Market. In this role, you'll oversee the front office, ensuring a high level of guest services and memorable experiences. Your leadership skills will drive our team's success, as we strive to build strong relationships with our guests and colleagues alike.

Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Guide and support your team members to achieve outstanding results, fostering a positive work environment where everyone feels valued and empowered.
  • Guest Services: Deliver exceptional guest experiences through check-in, check-out, and during-stay interactions, showcasing our commitment to hospitality excellence.
  • Problem-Solving and Escalation: Effectively manage complaints and issues, using your problem-solving skills to find resolutions that meet our guests' needs.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Identify new sales opportunities, encouraging your team to do the same, driving revenue growth and increasing customer satisfaction.
  • Event and Function Management: Provide support in managing events and functions, ensuring seamless execution and exceeding our guests' expectations.
Requirements
  • Approved Working Rights: Hold approved Australian working rights (Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or a Visa with approved working rights).
  • Certifications: Possess a First Aid Certificate (or obtain before starting) and a Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (or obtain before starting).
  • Availability: Be flexible to work various shifts throughout the week, including public holidays on rotation with other team members.
  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrate experience leading a team with kindness, achieving outcomes, and building strong relationships.
  • Communication Skills: Exhibit high standards of attention to detail and effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer Service: Showcase experience in a customer service role, delivering exceptional experiences and resolving issues efficiently.

The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
