The Role

We are seeking an experienced Claims Management Specialist to lead a team of claims consultants in our Kawana office. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the team to deliver high-quality service and process adherence
  • Monitoring and supporting the management of a portfolio of claims, encompassing workload prioritization, claim review, technical support, and performance reporting
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of strategic activities to enhance Claims performance
  • Providing input into ongoing process and system development
  • Assisting with staffing requirements and recruitment

Your Experience

  • Demonstrated understanding of legislative, regulatory, and compliance obligations
  • Previous Team Leader or equivalent experience
  • Extensive Home Claims experience
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate people
  • Ability to analyze and resolve problems effectively
  • A focus on customer outcomes and relations
  • Capacity to innovate and develop processes and procedures
  • Ability to manage conflict and negotiate when required
