About the RoleThis is a critical role within our organization, focusing on intake and assessment, crisis responses, service planning, and referrals. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and prioritizing risk and needs, providing targeted interventions, and supporting clients through various channels.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments, screenings, and triage to determine client needs and develop appropriate plans.
- Prioritize and manage cases effectively, ensuring timely interventions and coordinated referrals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe and informed practice, participate in case planning, and contribute to continuous service improvement.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A strong understanding of family violence dynamics, child protection principles, and relevant legislation.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work effectively in a dynamic, high-pressure environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
We are seeking candidates with a tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, preferably with experience working with vulnerable populations and a strong knowledge of best practice frameworks and risk tools.
