We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our Mining Equipment Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of diesel-powered mining equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operations.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a trade qualification in diesel mechanics and previous experience with underground or surface mining equipment. Strong troubleshooting skills, a proactive work ethic, and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Maintain and repair diesel-powered mining equipment, including LHDs and Drift Runners;">
  • Perform pre-start inspections and routine maintenance;">
  • Diagnose faults and complete repairs on a variety of diesel-powered mining equipment;">
  • Replace or refurbish components as part of planned maintenance;">
  • Maintain a safe and efficient worksite while identifying opportunities for improvement;">
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and safety standards.">

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A trade qualification as a diesel mechanic or similar;">
  • Previous experience with underground or surface mining equipment (highly desirable);">
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive work ethic;">
  • Excellent communication and a team-first attitude;">
  • A valid driver's licence;">
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical & drug screening;">
  • Forklift licence (preferred);">
  • Other relevant tickets or licences are a bonus.">
