Specialising in
Repairs and Overhauls of the Latest Mining RTV Fleet
, Alfabs service both internal and external customers with equipment for
QDS, Secondary Support, Longwall Move, and Material Handling Equipment
, our department designs and manufactures custom-built machinery to meet the unique needs of our mining clients.

What You'll Be Doing
Reporting directly to the Workshop Supervisor
Performing pre-start inspections and routine maintenance
Diagnosing faults and completing repairs on a variety of diesel-powered mining equipment, including
LHDs and Drift Runners
Replacing or refurbishing components as part of planned maintenance
Maintaining a safe and efficient worksite while identifying opportunities for improvement
Ensuring compliance with all company policies and safety standards
What You Bring
Trade qualification as a diesel mechanic or similar
Previous experience with underground or surface mining equipment (highly desirable)
Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive work ethic
Excellent communication and a team-first attitude
Valid driver's licence
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical & drug screening
Forklift licence (preferred)
Other relevant tickets or licences are a bonus
