Senior Maintenance Lead

We are seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Lead to oversee the performance, safety, and efficiency of our Mining Equipment Division workshop.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct a team of skilled tradespeople to achieve optimal maintenance outcomes.
  • Develop and implement effective workshop strategies to ensure seamless operations, minimize downtime, and guarantee equipment reliability.
  • Promote a strong culture of safety by managing Standard Work Methods (SWMs), pre-start checks, and toolbox talks.
  • Coordinate fault diagnosis, repairs, and maintenance across diesel-powered mining equipment, including LHDs, Drift Runners, and RTV fleet.
  • Oversee planned maintenance programs, refurbishments, and component replacements to ensure equipment remains in good working order.
Requirements:
  • A trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic, Mechanical, or Fabrication trade.
  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a workshop environment.
  • Strong knowledge of underground or surface mining equipment.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills to manage complex maintenance issues.
  • A valid driver's license, with forklift license and other relevant tickets advantageous.
