About the Role
The City of Whittlesea is seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join our Compliance and Environmental Health Department as a Parking Officer.
As a Parking Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with parking rules and restrictions, promoting an effective parking system, and providing consistent and professional information and advice to internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Enforce parking rules and restrictions to ensure a safe and efficient parking system.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to achieve compliance and enforcement goals.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and regulations.
Requirements
- Sound knowledge of the Victorian Road Safety Road Rules 2017 and Infringements Act 2006.
- Prior experience in a Local Government Parking Enforcement role.
- Ability to demonstrate experience delivering an exceptional standard of customer service in a high-pressure environment.
- Integrity of the highest standard.
- Enthusiasm about change in the workplace.
- Confidence working with new and existing technologies.
- Current Australian driver's license.
