Key Qualifications & Experience

  • Hold a diploma qualification in Tourism, Hotel Management, or a related field.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in the hotel and luxury sector.
  • Possess RSA certification.
  • Sommelier experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager and Catering & Dining Manager to ensure seamless operation of the Food & Beverage department.
  • Be consistent, reliable, and passionate about delivering exceptional service standards.
  • Build strong relationships with guests and foster a healthy work ethic within the team.
  • Utilize previous experience in a similar duty management or supervisory role.
  • Deliver high-quality service at pace, exuding a positive and engaging personality.
  • Assist in developing sequences of service for individual outlets.
  • Participate in daily and month-end inventory controls and stock ordering.
  • Maintain accurate stock levels aligned with occupancy levels.
  • Host daily shift briefings with the team.
  • Ensure the team is well-versed in food preparation techniques and confident in discussing them with guests.
  • Guarantee prepared foods are served according to recipe and sequence of service.
  • Comply with COVID regulations and uphold cleanliness standards.
