This rating was conducted through the market and consumer data firm Statista.We are looking for experienced Duty Manager to join our Front Office team in a full-time capacity.Reporting to the Front Office Manager, as the Duty Manager, your primary responsibilities include but not limited to:Actively resolve guest complaints and challengesLead by example when attending to guest requests; being proactive and resourcefulCompile and check daily record sheets, guest accounts, receipts and vouchers using Opera CloudAssist food and beverage department during all day services where requiredAssist in replying to guest reviews on OTA and social networks.General front office administration dutiesDaily accounting data entry and reconciliationDevelop and motivate the Front Office teamAct as a role model for the Front Office teamTo be successful in this role you must have:Experience in a similar role within a 4 to 5-star hotel environmentAn approach to guest service that is second to noneExceptional customer service skills, communication, presentation and time management skillsPrevious experience with a property management and point of sales system preferably Opera and MICROS.A friendly and outgoing personalityA willingness to use initiative and strong problem solving skillsStrong analytical skills with a high level of computer literacy and accuracyAttention to detail and understanding of basic accounting processesA strong background knowledge in both Front Office and ReservationsSenior First Aid CertificateResponsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)The availability to work across a rotating roster including weekends, public holidays, early mornings, late evenings, and overnight shifts as required.Unlimited work rights in AustraliaIf you are up for this great challenge and keen to advance your career and skills with one of Sydney's luxury hotels, then please click on 'Apply' now.
