CBGU JV combines the expertise of CPB Contractors, BAM, Ghella, and UGL to execute the Tunnel and Station Package for Brisbane's Cross River Rail. This ambitious project encompasses a 10.2-kilometre rail corridor, including a substantial tunnel beneath the Brisbane River and CBD, along with the establishment of four new underground stations.
All project operations are centralized in Brisbane, a vibrant city that balances urban activity with a relaxed lifestyle. This is an opportunity to be part of a landmark project that will leave a lasting impact on the community.

Reporting directly to the Safety Manager, this position is integral to the Health & Safety project team. You will enhance the H&S function by creating and maintaining efficient administrative systems that ensure a consistent approach to health and safety management across various project sectors, including civil and tunneling operations.
As a vital member of the H&S team, you will provide precise and timely administrative support, significantly contributing to the successful and safe execution of the project.
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting, coordinating, and advising on safety practices, systems, and procedures throughout the project. Evaluating documentation to confirm subcontractor capabilities in meeting safety standards. Monitoring progress against defined roles and responsibilities, reporting findings to project leadership. Employing effective time management skills to prioritize tasks for optimal efficiency. Organizing and scheduling team meetings. Managing data entry for the project incident management system. Preparing and updating all necessary Project Safety Plans and registers.Essential qualifications for this role include:
Certification in office administration or a related discipline. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate. Previous experience in a similar administrative support role within a small team. Familiarity with project administration tasks, including report preparation, spreadsheet management, and correspondence. Demonstrated assertiveness and confidence, with a willingness to learn from a knowledgeable team.
