BMD Urban is seeking a highly skilled Safety and Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for promoting the development and implementation of safety, environmental, and quality standards across our project sites in South East Queensland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and implement safety, environmental, and quality standards that address all compliance and due diligence requirements.
  • Conduct regular safety, environmental, and quality audits and inspections.
  • Prepare reports for senior management on safety, environmental, and quality performance.
  • Assist with education and training of BMD staff in safety, environmental, and quality systems.
  • Develop and implement system changes and improvements.

Requirements:

  • Qualification in work health and safety (minimum of Cert IV).
  • Qualification in training and assessment desirable.
  • Prior experience in the construction industry highly regarded and prior experience on TMR projects beneficial.
  • Current knowledge of legislation, standards, and industry requirements.
