About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Program Manager to assist the Prevention and Response Violence, Abuse and Neglect (PARVAN) service to create a new and innovative model of care for Adult Survivors of Child Sexual Assault (ASP) Program.

Working alongside the Adult Survivors Clinical Coordinator, your role will be key in building strong partnerships and collaboration with NGOs, ACCOs, consumer networks and community Mental Health and Drug & Alcohol health providers to ensure the creation of a strengths-based, family-centred, culturally appropriate and trauma-informed model of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the development of a sustainable local model of care in alignment with statewide requirements of NSW Health's new Adult Survivors Program.
  • Provide advanced leadership and high-quality project management to ensure that the objectives and project milestones of this innovative new integrated program are met.
  • Work in close partnership with the Clinical Coordinator – Sexual Assault / Adult Survivors Program to ensure effective and sustainable local implementation of this innovative new program.
  • Recruit, coach, mentor and performance develop identified staff as well as manage delegated financial responsibilities.

Selection Criteria

The following selection criteria will be used to assess your application:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, or equivalent industry experience, with demonstrated experience in service and facility planning within a health care setting, in accordance with the Australian Health Facility Guidelines.
  • Highly developed problem solving and analytical skills with ability to report on data related to health service needs / demand and capacity / supply, using routine health data collections and projection tools and guidelines.
  • Demonstrated capacity to manage complex health and/or community service-related projects and change initiatives to achieve planned outcomes, including project planning, financial monitoring and management, and project evaluation and reporting.
  • Proven experience in consulting and negotiating with a range of stakeholders in order to positively influence, build trust, resolve conflict and foster positive working relationships.
  • Demonstrated time-management and organisational skills with proven ability to achieve priorities in a complex environment with conflicting agendas.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the proven ability to prepare comprehensive documents for a range of audiences.
  • A current drivers licence and willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position.
