About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Ambassador to join our team at Mercure Sydney Bankstown. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide warm and welcoming check-in and check-out experiences for our guests, ensuring all their needs are met and exceeded.
- Manage guest accounts, respond to queries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services to our guests.
- Take ownership of cash handling responsibilities, including reconciling floats and maintaining accurate records.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and revenue growth through effective upselling and cross-selling techniques.
- Previous experience in a hotel front office environment, preferably with a focus on customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and external partners.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Opera systems.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, with a focus on exceeding guest expectations.
