Mercure Sydney Bankstown is a reputable hotel seeking a Part-Time Guest Service Agent to join our team.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional customer service from check-in to check-out and throughout the guest experience
- Provide welcoming and professional communication as the first point of contact for guests and visitors
- Assist with various front office tasks, ensuring each day presents new challenges and opportunities
- Promote the hotel's facilities and services, handle reservations, and maintain accurate guest accounts
- Answer telephone calls in a polished and professional manner, adhering to brand standards
- Reconcile cash floats at the end of each shift, maintaining financial accuracy
- Educate non-ALL members on program features and benefits, encouraging sign-ups to enhance their experience
- Support guests using self-check-in kiosks
- A minimum of previous customer service experience, preferably within a hotel environment
- Strong familiarity with computer systems, including Microsoft Office and Opera
- The ability to work under pressure, multitask, and think critically to resolve issues efficiently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong emphasis on presentation
- Natural talent for providing exceptional guest service, setting you apart from others
