Mercure Sydney Bankstown is a reputable hotel seeking a Part-Time Guest Service Agent to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service from check-in to check-out and throughout the guest experience
  • Provide welcoming and professional communication as the first point of contact for guests and visitors
  • Assist with various front office tasks, ensuring each day presents new challenges and opportunities
  • Promote the hotel's facilities and services, handle reservations, and maintain accurate guest accounts
  • Answer telephone calls in a polished and professional manner, adhering to brand standards
  • Reconcile cash floats at the end of each shift, maintaining financial accuracy
  • Educate non-ALL members on program features and benefits, encouraging sign-ups to enhance their experience
  • Support guests using self-check-in kiosks
Qualifications and Requirements
  • A minimum of previous customer service experience, preferably within a hotel environment
  • Strong familiarity with computer systems, including Microsoft Office and Opera
  • The ability to work under pressure, multitask, and think critically to resolve issues efficiently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong emphasis on presentation
