The comprehensive remuneration package includes base salary, private practice allowance, on-call allowances, professional development allowance ($38k), and superannuation benefits.
This rewarding position is within the mental health service of NSW's largest paediatric health service, delivering quality care for over 90,000 sick and injured children annually.

As a consultant - staff specialist - psychiatrist, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing senior medical support and guidance, working collaboratively with other health professionals, and agencies.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Active liaison and collaboration with other health and social professionals.
- Providing senior medical support and guidance to the team.
- Working directly with young people and their families, and liaising as appropriate with external CAMHS mental health providers and hospitals.
- Supporting peers, MDT colleagues, and being an effective team member while allowing them to work with autonomy.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- FRANZCP or equivalent qualifications gained in NZ, UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, or South Africa.
- Strong experience in child and adolescent psychiatry, preferably within a community context.
- Experience in leadership and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team setting.
- High-level communication skills and a commitment to teaching and education.
- A demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and clinical excellence.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call roster.
