Expert Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

We are seeking a skilled child and adolescent psychiatrist to join our team in Sydney, specialising in eating disorders. As a consultant staff specialist psychiatrist, you will provide high-quality care to patients and families within our multidisciplinary team.
About the RoleThis exciting opportunity is based at one of NSW's largest paediatric health services, delivering exceptional specialist care in a supportive environment. Our hospital serves children from across Australia and the Pacific, offering comprehensive services including outpatient support through the Maudsley approach.
Responsibilities- Providing safe, evidence-based treatment for eating disorders
- Supervising care by relevant staff members
- Delivering telepsychiatry services
- Managing inpatient cases
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide excellent patient care
- Participating in quality improvement activities and internal training programs
- FRANZCP or equivalent qualification gained in Australia or abroad
- Strong experience in child and adolescent psychiatry and eating disorders
- Leadership and collaboration skills within a multidisciplinary context
- Excellent communication and teaching abilities
- Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and clinical excellence

With a base salary ranging from $250,000 to $400,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications, you will be well-rewarded for your expertise and dedication.
