Sydney OpportunityWe are currently seeking an experienced Senior Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our client's team in Sydney. This exciting opportunity allows you to provide safe, evidence-based treatment and supervision of care by relevant staff in a multidisciplinary team setting.
About the RoleAs a Consultant - Staff Specialist - Psychiatrist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-quality services to patients, families, and carers
- Supervision of care by relevant staff
- Telepsychiatry services
- Management of inpatients
- Initiating and participating in quality improvement activities
- Taking part in internal training and education of medical colleagues
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in child and adolescent psychiatry with an emphasis on inpatient settings and experience in leadership and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team context. A commitment to teaching and education, as well as a willingness to participate in an on-call roster, is essential.
