About the JobThe position offers a unique blend of clinical expertise, leadership, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team setting.
As a consultant-staff specialist-psychiatrist, your responsibilities will include providing safe, evidence-based treatment, supervision of care by relevant staff, telepsychiatry, management of inpatients, and participating in quality improvement activities.
You will have the opportunity to take part in internal training and education of medical colleagues, while also initiating and participating in quality improvement activities.

About the RoleYour daily tasks will involve working with patients, families, and carers to provide first-class services within a multidisciplinary team setting.
Key qualifications for this role include FRANZCP or equivalent gained in NZ, UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, or South Africa, strong experience in child and adolescent psychiatry and eating disorders with children and adolescents, experience in leadership and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team context, high-level communication skills, demonstrated commitment to teaching and education, commitment to your own professional development, and a willingness to participate in an on-call roster.
We offer a competitive salary package including base salary, private practice allowance, oncall allowances, $38,000 professional development allowance, and superannuation.
